Your credit report is a detailed report that shows your credit history, including, credit card accounts, personal loans, payment records for these accounts, places of employment, and current/previous addresses. Your credit report tells lenders what kind of risk you would be if they were to lend you money.

The information on your credit report includes any aliases, your date of birth, current/previous home addresses, employers, total accounts and how many accounts that are open, closed, delinquent, derogatory and what the total balance is. The credit report also shows how many inquires have been made in the past two years, the payment history for each account and who made inquiries.

Information about your race, religion, political party, medical history, lifestyle, background or criminal record.

By getting your free credit report you are able to check what lenders see when they credit check you. Checking your free credit report will allow you to see if accounts have been opened in your name that you did not authorize. Don’t let your credit health suffer due to inaccurate information.
